“Customers buying the red iPhone 7/7 Plus will contribute to the Global Fund to fight AIDS”
In 2006, Apple introduced the iPad Nano Special Edition in partnership with (RED). Now the company bringing the iPhone into the (RED) fold with the launch of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus RED Special Edition. (RED) is a licensed band that seeks to engage the private sector in raising awareness and funds to eliminate HIV/AIDS in Africa.
The new (RED) iPhone 7 and 7 Plus flaunt a red aluminium finish, and perhaps is the most striking of all the colour options available.
As with all previous Apple (RED) products, a portion of every (RED) iPhone sold will go to The Global Fund, which is a non-profit organisation that helps finance HIV/AIDS grants in several countries.
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus RED Special Edition will be available in 128GB and 256GB storage variants at a starting price of Rs 82,000. It will go on sale in India in April.
